Retired should I payoff my mortgage which
Im retired 11yrs, 73M, single,good health,have 200k in a 3.5% savings account. I have a govt pension plus SSI and my net is 7K monthly. My VA Mortgage is 3.5% fixed and I owe 178k on a home that is valued around 700K. Question is should I drain my savings to pay off my mortgage which is $1724 monthly including taxes/home owner insurance.
