Hey, some guy ran a stop sign and crashed into the passenger side of my car and my insurance isn’t paying for it. Anyone have any advice on fixing this myself (broke student)?

I’m planning on getting a $400 painted to match rear bumper and $80 tail light replacement. I’m wondering if anyone has any similarly priced alternatives that are better quality?

And my main question is if anyone has any tips for removing the dent and repainting that are specific to my car? Or do I just bang it out normally and buy the parts I was considering lol. Thanks y’all, just wanna make sure I’m not making mistakes I’m not in the know about.
