I have a FF Nubian doe who categorically refuses to eat enough to maintain weight. At this point she’s bordering on emaciated. FAMACHA meh. Stool looks good. She’ll run when the herd runs, loves scratches, and grazes actively.

Problem started during pregnancy and continues to now (12 weeks postpartum). Free choice hay, plenty of pasture to graze, free choice minerals. Sweet feed/oats, BOSS, lamb/kid grower pellets twice a day, as much as she wants to eat (which is not much). I’ve taken to feeding her separately from the herd in case it’s a competition issue.

She’s been wormed, gotten a copper bolus, got a B Complex injection and an iron injection last week. I pulled her kids almost two weeks ago and am working on drying her off, because it just doesn’t feel right milking her when she’s so lean. She’s put on about 3-4lbs since, but still looks awful.

Anyone got other suggestions? Everyone else in the herd looks great.
