hey all I've been trying to recreate random posters I find online.

I found this poster which I thought would be relatively easy but I guess I got a long way to go.

I couldn't find the exact font that this poster is using so at first I tried to tweak the font "Oswald" by scaling it wider horizontally but that r

esulted in the font's stroke width not being uniform across the letter.

Just now I tried recreating the font by using the pen tool and tracing it but the edges are not smooth as I would like them to be.

I'm just not sure how I'm supposed to approach this so if you guys have any tips on that or even general ideas on where to start with typography like this I would appreciate that.

How much would y’all appreciate a synthesizer as a gift when you guys were starting off as beginners?
My friend is a big lover of music and electronic music. He DJs and I know he definitely wants to get into music production. I’m willing to spend up to $200.
Idk whether the synthesizer would actually logistically support his music production or be a cool gift in general
