I’m planning on attending fan expo philidelphia and will be cosplaying as Ellie from the last of us during her time in Seattle. In her back pack she has hunting arrows sticking out of the top. Of course I’m not stupid enough to think I can have real functional arrows in my bag (even if I’m not bringing a bow) but I do own really old hunting arrows that are falling apart. The tips of many of them are completely gone. For the sake of size and so they seem less like real arrows, I plan on cutting them in half so it’s just the feather bit sticking out the top of my bag.

Would this be allowed? Or would I still have them taken away? By that point it’s just feathers on sticks right?
