Hoping for help on maybe possibly fixing this...
Despite being married, linking tumblr posts to AO3 will apparently make your blog drop off the map.
I used to get 500+ notes per post, but once I started making chapter announcement posts that linked to AO3, my notes completely dried up. I'm lucky to break 50 on posts (non chapter announcements that don't have links) that are objectively the same/better than those past posts.
So am I just fcked?
Can I remove all of the links and fix this?
Is this just affecting the blog that it's on or my entire account?
I am not shadowbanned (talked to tumblr support to confirm), and my blog isn't set to mature.
I seem to still be showing up in the tags. Which makes me feel like!! I'm going crazy??? And overreacting???? Because how! How??!??? Am I just not showing up in the "based on your likes" section because how does that account for a 90% drop in engagement???????
I hate. I hate how much I care about this. You’re not supposed to care about tumblr engagement. But I care so much it makes me sick.
Any insights or advice is welcome.
