I‘m living in central europe, and my childhood dreams was the Mk1 TT Roadster.

I find plenty in the Netherlands and Germany which I‘s like to consider.

I got around 8k for it, but not sure what I‘ll get for this sum.

For instance, since 18 I had a Golf Mk4 but with the legendary 1.9Tdi, today at 880k km. I‘m sure the 1.8T isn‘t the same thing, but at least I know the interior quality should be the same (good).

Can you guys advice me on this TT? What should I look after? what to test when buying? Is 8k€ enough to find a good one?

Of course there will be problems because of the age, but I‘d lile to expect no repairs in the same value as the car.
