i live with my mom with my miniature poodle, he is my whole life: and her dog just tested positive for parvo today. my dog is 1 and a half and he is fully vaccinated and he isn’t around her dog a lot but they live in the same house. her dog has to go to the vet everyday until he’s feeling better; for fluids and a shot (i don’t know what it’s called) her dog is only 8 months old. i’m so anxious that my boy is gonna get sick and i’m going to lose him. he has genuinely changed my life, saved me so many times and he is my bestfriend. i’m having terrible anxiety and just can’t stop crying. we’ve wiped down everything with bleach and literally threw our couch out since her dog was laying on it yesterday. my mom is quarantining her dog from mine until the vet says he can be out, unless he doesn’t pull thru. im losing my mind and have been crying at the thought of losing my baby, he is everything to me, my bestfriend, i can’t lose him. is there anything else i should be doing??? please help. thank you so much in advance
