I can’t show up to the first two lectures of the year, can I ask the professor what he went through?

Hello! I’m beginning uni for the first time, but since I have no way to be at the university the first week I will miss the first two lectures. Is there an appropriate way to ask the professor about what he went through and what I should study so I won’t fall behind?

If it’s relevant, I can’t show up because I live 8 hours away and I get student housing the week after. Thanks you so much in advance :)

Where should I place my bed?

Hi! I’m moving into a student flat and need help with how I should place my bed so the room feels not so small. The bed is 120x200cm with storage inside. I originally wanted to put it in the left corner but I’m scared the heating will be in the way.

I’ve tried to draw an approximation of the space in square meters on the second picture. Any advice appreciated 🩷
