Confused over AI bot when applying to Nordys
Idk if anyone can help, but I have a question about the new AI chat bot Nordstrom uses for applications now.
I applied to the fulfillment position at my Nordstrom originally through Indeed, which made me click a link that forced me to message an AI bot (Nora) with my applicant info. I wanted to change an answer, but the AI bot wouldn't let me go back, so I called my Nordstrom Store.
The customer service person told me I should apply through the Nordstrom careers .com website, and she has no idea what AI chat bot I was talking about. I filled out another app but through the careers site.
An actual human Joanna followed up and confirmed an interview date. Then, I got sent a message saying I need to re-apply? I am so confused cuz why do I need to reapply/finish applying when I literally just confirmed an interview. I also think the AI chat bot Nora is merging texts/emails with Joanna.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? I wanna know if I need to "reapply" or if it's just some dumb automated AI bot message that I can ignore. I cant tell if the AI bot is legit or not.
