I’m a new Etsy seller and I just got an email that looks so so so legitimate. It said I had to verify account details to get my page set up again as it had been shut down. Because it looked so legit I didn’t question anything and the first step was to add in bank details. I thought that was weird but again it looked SO legit I didn’t question it at all. Then it said to input how much you had in your card and once I had put in how much I had, under the box it came up with “please enter a card with minimum £500”. That’s when I got scared because I had put my details in. There was a chat box and I said it was a scam and they just said “no” and I questioned them on the min £500 bit but no response. The email came from “noreply@budibase.com”. Didn’t check it before but I checked after getting suspicious. Checked what budibase is and it’s an AI website builder. I fell for it and I’m a tech savvy generation so please watch out for this!! Any questions just ask in the comments and I’ll try to answer.
