The more bizarre the better

Oh my god, I’ve been rewatching the  trailer for Cyke and I just can’t get enough of it.

Ok, let’s start with the only negative I have. The visor is admitting something that I’m not a big fan of. I wish they did the classic golden one but I’m sure with time it’ll grow on me.

But on to the positive stuff. First and foremost his suit looks so clean, the various X’s, the perfect use of blue, gold, red and black is just *chefs kiss*

His one liner, “Not exactly a warm welcome, Nueva York.” The dude is serious but he is humorous and does like his quips.

The way he fights is just so damn good, using his optic beams while accounting for his opponent’s and environment just shows the team did their homework and shows why Cyke is THE strategist/tactician.

However my favorite part is when Scott sees a scared child, Lunella better known as Moongirl. When he does he instantly shifts into Poppa wolf mode and tries to protect her, using his power so much so that his visor break, all the while trying to hold onto Lunella to kept her safe. He is neutralized and has a power dampening collar put on him but that doesn’t change the fact that he did try to save someone.

I just really love how they showed that yes Cyclops is a humorous, badass, smart guy but also most importantly speaking a protector. Again Im just so happy that we are out of the dark age of Cyke being this cold unfeeling prick and instead Rivals, X-Men 97, and hopefully Doomsday showing that Cyke is a serious guy yes but he is also funny, straight up badass and most importantly he cares for others and can and will do his best to protect them, even at the cost of his own life.
