WIBTA for telling my best friend of 6 years that she has gone to far?
I have never posted a thing like this on Reddit before so sorry if I make some mistakes! I 21F have a best friend for 6 years now, and I now feel as if she is being quite greedy and over the top with the wrong things. My best friend, lets call her Jamie, me and my other friend, lets call her Mary, went out to lunch to catch up and Mary brought sodas and chips for me and her only because Jamie doesn't tend to like that stuff, but what a surprise, she likes it today. Mary gives Jamie HER soda, and then she has the audacity to ask for the chips as well. When Mary gives her the chips she asks for one, and what does she get, not just a crumb but and crumb for the BOTTOM OF JAMIES SHOE. Mary started to tear up and we sat in silence for the rest of the time, until Mary had to go finish cleaning her house. And it's not just this that has been annoying the Jamie. Jamie has had three girlfriends in the past 2 months and non of them end well for her because normally rushes into things. She just started dating a new girl two weeks ago, and it has taken up all of her time. Now I myself do have a boyfriend and he is very nice but he does respect that I do also want to do things with my friends. Jamie new girl friend, does not. She come on everything and it took a lot of convincing to get her not to come to lunch with us. Now what sent me over the edge was when I asked Jamie if we could talk and go for nice jog. She says yes and 10 MINUTES before we leave she cancels and says she has plans with one of her exes. I don't like it when she does this but I have also done this once or twice, but for family things, this is for hanging out with on of three exes she has and is never reliable when it comes to making plans. We have known each other for six years, and Mary became our friend two years ago. I just feel numb about the whole thing and I don't know what to do. Almost five years of this has finally caught up to me. Also a little side note. In high school, we were in a friend group of five and she started to date one of the other girls in our group, this caused ALL of us to fight and break apart a year later. Now in a trio with Mary and Jamie, me and Mary can already feel things falling apart. She brought Mary to tears and she has disappointed me far to many times to even count at this point, I don't really know what to do.
