Successful JAR?
I have been remote since I joined 2023 and prior to that, I started WFH in 2016. I am looking to move near an office but want to stay remote. I have no plans to be promoted or make an internal move anytime soon, so the career limitations aren’t a factor.
I have several health conditions that i think would qualify for a JAR to remain WFH but I am wondering for those with a WFH JAR, can you please share your condition, the documentation that you needed for approval, and how long your JAR is valid for before you need to reapply? I know it would look bad if i submitted all of my reasons so I want to ideally make a strong case (with documentation and doctors support) for one condition to focus on as my primary request.
Also, if your condition is mental health related, do they read your therapy notes? Or your psychiatrist notes? And if you have more than one therapist would I need to share both (i have a psychiatrist, regular therapist, and also a trauma therapist to work through PTSD).
