Are there any schools or districts in the NW suburbs that don’t heavily rely on iPads or individual devices for each student especially at the kindergarten level?

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of comments in my town group about how much classroom learning now revolves around regular iPad use, and it’s honestly making me rethink what we want to do for school. My child will be starting kindergarten the following year, so we’re starting to look into our options now. I really don’t love the idea of a child being given an iPad for daily classroom use.

Are private schools generally any better about limiting screen time and device use in the younger grades?
