Edit: LOL the Reddit consensus that somehow the left is a fast/passing lane ... the speed limit FOR ALL lanes is 70mph ... where is the legal statute that says you are allowed to go faster when passing ??? ... Allot of people posting have self-serving interests that the left lane is somehow your own personal express lane ... but you do you I guess, I hope your mom never learns how you died ... Has anyone else encountered the new osco pharmacy AI assistant?

Today in attempting to refill my child's prescription, which would normally take 2 minutes through the old ​automated system, the AI hung up on me without taking any information three times due to "​technical issues".

Twice it attempted to refill the prescription but couldn't find the prescription number in its system. It asked for a phone number and birthday instead, which of course doesn't apply to my child so it couldn't find it that way.

Three out of the four times that it transferred me to the pharmacist, it went to a non-specific dead voicemail.

After 11 minutes and a near stroke from frustration and anger, I managed to get through to a pharmacist who put me on hold for another 4 minutes. I politely asked the pharmacist if there was a corporate person I could relay my frustrations to and she said no and I'm sure they've heard it all before. Anyway, they're not going to change.

The pharmacist easily found the prescription by prescription number by the way.

I had been super loyal to this pharmacy for over 17 years because they are so good at handling prescriptions without allergen contamination. However, if I have to spend 15 minutes to talk to a pharmacist, I will have to switch.

I am graduating in May and got a good job offer in Rosemont that I have accepted. I am looking at areas to live around but that is a work in progress still, ideally by the blue line so I can journey into the city on weekends. My girlfriend has a successful catering business in Phoenix, she customizes dessert carts and will attend baby showers, weddings, birthday parties, etc. There are lots of neighborhoods in the area (Scottsdale, East Mesa etc) that have a large backyards and host events. She is consistently booked on weekends until summer hits because in Arizona it is too hot to be outdoors.

I want her to join me, she is unsure about restarting her client base and the idea of a new city is intimidating. Some questions we have:

1.) How are the suburbs around Chicago? Is this type of work a realistic idea in the city?

2.) We would have 3 vehicles and she is in the process of restoring a food trailer, what would be a realistic solution to vehicle storage? (3 vehicles, 1 trailer)

3.) Food truck owners of Chicago, how difficult is it to get licensing and get up and going?

4.) She does not want to live in the city, any nice residential areas that we can look at around Rosemont?

We have a lot of time to think and are planning on making a trip down in mid December, I really want to find solutions for her, any insight would be extremely helpful.

Budget for rent 1600 max for now, ideally 1300-1400.

EDIT: I didn’t explain my budget, this is just for myself when I move, gf would move a year after and I will have time to save up and get expenses in order. My budget when she comes will be around 2,000.

Hey y’all, I just got approved for an apartment and move in day is this Friday. With such short notice, I can’t seem to recruit any friends to help me move my stuff. I’m moving about 20 miles west and I’m moving from a rented room to a studio apartment so I don’t have much, mostly just boxes. The largest items I have are a desk and my mattress/bed frame.
