Couple looking for Jan 2027 3k budget

This would be our first time going to an all inclusive and have no idea where to start. We were looking at Mexico or maybe DR but really open to anywhere. Hoping to do 5-7 days and would be flying from ORD. 3k budget with flights included, willing to go a little above if a really good deal.
We are really looking just to relax and hangout and maybe get a massage. Excursions aren’t really a priority. Any and all advice would be helpful!

I am from and currently living in the US but one of my dear friends lives in the mainland UK and her family has gone through a significant medical event. I would like to send her some either frozen or premade meals that are limited prep and easy to cook to help ease the burden in any way possible as I physically can’t be there. Would anyone have any recommendations on which service would be the best?

While trying to research I continue to run in to services which only ship to the US. Or ones that lack reviews such as Chef on Board. I am willing to spend whatever is needed reasonably but would prefer to keep it under £125 Thank you in advance!
