Edit: LOL the Reddit consensus that somehow the left is a fast/passing lane ... the speed limit FOR ALL lanes is 70mph ... where is the legal statute that says you are allowed to go faster when passing ??? ... I'm in need of a web-based (phone/tablet) control of multiple AV products, specifically an audio matrix and HDMI matrix... we were already using an in-house solution to control HDMI matrix switches like those sold by Extron, NoHasselAV, AVaccess, ORIE (all of which seem to have very similar TCP/IP control commands and even identical front panels (except for the name stamped on) but we're trying to get out of that and use something more "established"

I know Control4 and Crestron are one solution, but it's a dealer sold product that carries a hefty expense, and only that have the software to make changes.

What other brands/products are there to combine multiple TRS, XLR, RCA audio feeds, and multiple HDMI video feeds to video walls and amplifiers, which I can program/control myself?

I am struggling to calculate fair pricing for full sticker sheets, I created a spreadsheet but feel it's come out way too expensive ... Has anyone else come up with a suitable formula?

My inputs are (anything else? I'm forgetting)...

- Ink cost

- Sticker sheet cost

- Machine runtime (electricity + fan out the window to control smell)

- Laminator runtime (electricity)

- Maintenance/upkeep machine cost (someday I'll have to replace printhead or the print bed/tack)

- Cutting around stickers, either manually or with Brother machine (electricity + replacement blades over time)

- Profit (time spent)

I need a way so that when something starts using technium DNS, it won't resolve anything, or would resolve everything to a known lan IP that shows a blocked or instructions page. Upon doing a lookup for a dedicated/complicated DNS name, that would then release it so that particular client IP could resolve queries through technium DNS as normal.

This is great in terms of network security, a captive portal type of situation.

Is there a way to do this built in or a plug-in, or do I need to develop this myself?

Is there any advantage to saving the chip off these cartridges for others who are refilling, only my machine has "seen" the chip, right, someone else's machine would still think it's "new" or is the 29/01/2027 expiry date encoded on the chip too?

I've now experienced the dreaded pushed in pins, thus the board wouldn't charge, so I've designed a fix that doesn't rely on any glue but mechanical reinforcement...

I have multiple ISPs for redundancy. How could I force tailscale to always exit WAN2? Unfortunately, some of my external tail scale clients will always use derp, I don't just want to force the derp connection over WAN2, but also the bandwidth of the VPN/encrypted traffic connection.

Side question, if I hosted my own derp/relay server would my backups to external places be faster than relying on the public derps ... Only as fast as the internet connection that hosts my relay server right?

Like when it's done, on the "rate quality" screen there should be a picture of it.
