Hi all,

I noticed when I was doing my research for filing an EB-2 NIW that there was a lack of general information on some of the law firms operating in this industry, which make it difficult to understand what's going on, who to pick who to file an application with, and how much it will cost. I wanted to therefore share my experience so far with a firm I eventually landed on, Manifest Law, for anyone in the future considering potentially submitting their application with them.

For context, I am an entrepreneur and student pursuing their masters degree. My own background is pretty complicated and I knew that in order to get much needed feedback on my case, I needed a firm that would take the time to understand all the different things about my professional history.

My first consultation wasn’t quite what I had hoped for, I was really impressed by the materials they had on their website and went into our meeting with high expectations, but felt that the full complexity of my case wasn't really understood and that the quiz I filled out was sort of skimmed through. After this first consult, I emailed their team about this and stated I wasn't satisfied with my experience and why. They responded positively, and were happy to accommodate a second consultation with a different attorney free of charge, and that meeting went great. We agreed on a timeline, a plan of action, and to keep in touch as I move along in building my application in preparation for a filing.

Manifest then sent me clear and transparent pricing options to choose from, with no hidden fees, and a member of their team scheduled an additional call with me after my second consultation to also answer any questions and ensure I was not in the dark about anything which was helpful. Their lowest tier was in the $8,000 range, and their highest tier offers a review by an ex-USCIS officer and a 60% refund or free refile in case the application is rejected for a price of around $15,000, which felt reasonable to me given the support included and the complexity of my case. So I found this to be the best for myself personally.

I think overall so far, in terms of transparency, capability, and responsiveness, I’ve had a positive experience. What stood out most to me was not that everything was perfect from the start, but that when I raised concerns after my first consultation, they took the feedback seriously and made a real effort to address it, which gave me a lot of confidence moving forward with them.

It’s still early in my process, so I can’t speak yet to the full petition preparation or filing outcome, but based on my experience so far, I’ve felt supported and well informed. For anyone considering firms for an NIW and trying to weigh options, I hope this was helpful for you.
