The relationship between the twin's father and mother

Is Mine kinda lying to Nagisa as other villagers too? Cuz we know:

  1. >!Villagers will share the secrets of the village and choose whether to stay when they become adults.!<

  2. >!The first time Nagisa found out that she could return to the modern world is when Tadera dropped his contact lens (Chapter 51)!<.

If I have to defend him, >!it will be that the villagers including him do not really know about the modern society so he cannot understand Nagisa's situation at the beginning.!<

But I do think there should be a moment for Mine to confront to the truth that he is a former villager too.

To the everyday Gabby / Kagemori hater posts

Felt a bit exhausted about seeing those posts so these are what I'd like to say.

First, protagonists and their supporters don't always have to be justified.

Second, people with moral defects can be depicted as somewhat charming and humanised.

Third, even when characters are written to be awful, they can still be liked by the audience.

Fourth, when you try to dehumanize the characters you deem sinful, you just end up acting a bit like them.

Fifth, if you acknowledge that the village is somewhat evil (or maybe that some people are more innocent than others), think about it, and still conclude that Kagemori has no excuse for their actions, you've completed a good thought experiment.

Sixth, when you have the opportunity to explore the nuances of the story but choose to just pour out your emotion, you are only wasting your own time, and you aren't even presenting an impressive argument.

Finally, if this show isn't for you, you can simply drop it and enjoy your real life. It is just a piece of fiction.
