Knee replacement
46f here. I’ve had knee pain for many years. I’ve done shots and physical therapy and bracing. Sometimes I can walk fine and others my knee goes out. I can’t go up steps well nor run to keep with my two special needs kids.
Sometimes the shots work but sometimes now. I never know when the pain will come but i can’t walk long before my knee swells up and hurts.
I’ve had episodes of horrible pain where I couldn’t move.
I was told by several doctors that I was to Young for replacement surgery although that is my prognosis. The last doctor I talked to you would do the surgery. He scared me so much it kind of freaked me out . I wonder if I need to wait til I can’t move anymore or have it done. I can’t do long walks or dance like I used to. I can’t walk on the beach and uneven surfaces scare me.
Has anyone had results like these and done it? Was it worth it?
