I 24M went to college for the first time in September last year and met 19F we're both in similar stages of life given i was held back in life through chronic illness (Never had a job, moved out, learned to drive, had a girlfriend, studied, general life stuff). We've both been friends since September last year but we discussed it then and decided that we should just remain friends. However recently she's told me that she wants to be in a relationship with me and doesn't mind the age gap. I want to be in a relationship with her too but obviously i'm worried about the age gap and everything that comes with that.

Should I date her? How do I go about saving our friendship if I shouldn't? Thank you
