Help…I’m so sad
Long story short, we moved into our home last year and wanted to paint our honey oak cabinets. We have a super open floor plan with high ceilings, so it just felt like the orange from the cabinets was ricocheting everywhere in the home. We hired a Benjamin Moore color consultant who recommended Swiss Coffee or Seapearl for the cabinets and Fairview Taupe for the island. When I put a sample of Seapearl up at night it looked mint green. Swiss Coffee just looked so beautiful in all lights. We went out of town while the painters were here and the Swiss coffee is so white looking and doesn’t match the countertops at all. The countertops are dated and somewhat hard to work but the sample of Swiss made it all look so elegant and warm and inviting. The real thing not so much. What do I do? I’m so devastated. Any ideas or encouragement appreciated.
