Sometimes we don’t miss people we miss the version of ourselves that existed when they were around.”

I think the hardest part isn’t losing someone.

It’s losing the version of yourself that felt happier, softer, and more alive around them.

Some people don’t just leave memories behind

they take pieces of who we used to be with them.

And sometimes, that’s what we miss the most.🤷‍♀️

You don’t realize how lonely you are until you stop distracting yourself.”

I think a lot of us aren’t actually okay we’re just constantly distracted.

Music, scrolling, conversations, notifications, work, overthinking… anything to avoid sitting alone with our thoughts for too long.

And then one quiet night hits differently.

No distractions. No noise. Just you and your mind.

That’s when you realize how lonely you’ve actually been.

Not because nobody is around you… but because you haven’t truly felt emotionally understood in a long time.
