New PC for 1440p gaming
Hey guys,
my girlfriend’s gaming laptop is slowly dying, so I’m planning to give her my current PC with a 3070 and build a new one for myself.
The new PC will mainly be used for 1440p gaming at 60+ FPS and some VR gaming. Ideally, it should stay relevant for the next 5+ years.
VR performance with my 3070 has never really been a problem so far.
I know this probably isn’t the best time to build a new PC, but I want my girlfriend to have a capable gaming machine as well. We live in Germany, if that matters for pricing/availability.
Budget isn’t really the main issue, but I also don’t want to spend completely unreasonable amounts of money because of all the current AI-driven hardware pricing.
