Picked up my YL 2 weeks ago and I love it, for those yet to pick up your Tesla some tips for you on delivery day. In addition to the regular checks, run your clean hands over the paint and windscreen. In my case a few days later I noticed a few tiny raised spots on the paint and plenty on the glass. Its residue from the protection they place for transit, the dealer did a poor job cleaning it up. I've booked mine in for PPF so the detailer will clean it up, but please take an extra few mins checking how well they cleaned up the exterior.
Just a heads up for all the newbies (myself included), I charged my Tesla last night at an Ampol Fast DC charger. Once done I noticed a mist pour out from the wheel wells, I straight up thought the battery was cooked. But no.... so apparently Batteries get hot when DC charging and the cooling system kicks in to help. On cold crisp nights that heat quickly turns to mist. So if that happens to you, don't fret. Unless its a chemical smell and doesn't clear up, then get ppl out and call for help.
