A 2018 NASCAR Race Truck signed by Prince Albert II of Monaco and his children just sold for $20K on BringaTrailer.

The truck itself was raced in the 2018 Stratosphere 200 for Young’s Motorsports at Las Vegas Motor Speedway by French driver Michel Disdier. It started 22nd and finished 19th. The scheme was designed by Richard Orlinski, a famous French sculptor known for making animal statues.

It was on display at Prince’s Palace of Monaco during the 2021 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix, where it was signed by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, as well as his two children, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

It was also used in 2023 for a promotional video filmed in Monaco by Ligue 1 soccer team AS Monaco, announcing that they signed Folarin Balogun.

I find the history of this specific race truck very interesting, hopefully the new owner takes good care of it!

Found this at a thrift store earlier today:

I didn’t know Racing Champion diecasts could break like that, and there was no obvious damage to the package so I can’t even fathom how it completely shattered while still in the packaging.

No, I didn’t buy it.

Two of the designs include Kyle Busch’s 2019 championship winning M&M's car and the Interstate Batteries car from his 200th total NASCAR win earlier that year.

Here’s an Anduril FQ-44 “Fury” Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle with William Byron’s #24 Anduril scheme in San Diego

This might be the wildest example of NASCAR sponsor activation I have ever seen.
