Just after people's thoughts and experiences with applying for a novated lease with an "average" Equifax credit score. After some earlier financial mistakes in my early 20s my credit score took a battering. Now I've repaired my finances, but my credit is still recovering and will continue to improve over the next 12-24 months.

How hard is it to get a novated lease with an average credit score ? I've got very stable employment and earn $116k a year before tax, and not using other forms of credit. Still paying off some HECs but that will be finalised in 2 years. My employer only offers leasing through Smart salary packaging. I'd be looking at an EV to take advantage of the FBT exemption before it's phased out.
