Hello! I just picked up my new 2026 outback limited xt (canada). I must say that the connectivity glitches with android auto are driving me crazy. I usually listen to Spotify and use Google maps. Nothing crazy.
In a 10 minute drive, it disconnects and reconnects constantly. And when connected, the audio is skipping like crazy. It is definitely getting in the way of my ability to enjoy this new vehicle.
I tired everything :
- made sure software is up to date
- factory data reset outback software
- unpair and reconnect phone
- soft restart of outback infotainment
- uninstall vpn app on cell phone
- uninstall and reinstall on phone : Android auto, Google maps and Spotify
...
I slay have a 2025 forester and wireless android auto works seamlessly with my phone.
Anyone else having issues? Any tips?
