Straight to tldr: I’m looking for a pcp and/or obgyn who has experience working w lesbians/queer people, preferably accepts Aetna and is close to roxborough/manayunk; extra bonus points if they’re BIPOC!!
Finally got a full time job with insurance! I’m from out of state and went to school out here so I saw the university’s doctors. Now that I live in philly I’m looking for firsthand experiences from lesbians who feel heard (or not) by their doctors! The master list on this sub is great, but has no info on how queer friendly they are (unless I missed that). I need my doctor to understand my reproductive problems are not caused by men lol. Because I’m a lesbian, they run out of ideas. If i’m chasing a pipe dream let me know but would love to hear from you all! I have a car so if your doc isn’t explicitly in philly but worth the drive I’m open to hearing that too!
