I'm currently pregnant and do travel health care making $130k, but once the baby comes I won't work until about 8 months post-partum and estimate I'll gross $90k full time in NC (if that matters). The dad lives in CA, but only works part-time about 1 day a week for $80wk but gets $4k a month with 100% VA disability. I would attempt to get the baby on healthcare through him as it would be free and reduce the financial burden on me. It's both our first child and he decided he would not be involved. I'm wondering if I can expect anything in child support to help me plan ahead. Thanks
