Durnehviir is my bestie

Nothing else to it really, I love him. He’s my best friend. Idk if this is a popular take but he is actually my favorite NPC.

Hey yall! I was on a hike earlier today and found this cool “rock”. Upon getting home and cleaning it I’m now pretty sure it’s either a thick piece of glass/fake agate or dyed quartz. What do you all think?

In particular one of the sides looks like there was paint on it that has now rubbed off. (3rd photo)

This was found in the Sawtooth National forest in Idaho.

I don’t know if anyone else feels this way but there is a very specific genre of horror that I prefer (books, movies, shows, etc.). It is the specific combination of inspiring beauty and visceral horror that certain media captures perfectly. It can be emotional or physical beauty, bonus points for romantic beauty or longing.

Some favorite examples (in order of relevance):

Annihilation (movie)

Midsommer (Movie)

Don’t let the Forest in (book)

Grey Dog (book)

The Haunting of Hill House (show)

If you guys have any suggestions or preferred niche genres of your own I’d love to hear about it!
