Name change evidence
I am gathering evidence for citizenship by descent. My great-grandmother was born in Canada. Her daughter, my American-born grandmother, has a completely different name than her birth certificate. She was born in 1926. She used this other completely different name her whole life.
I have the following documents using her "new" name:
Marriage certificate listing G0 as her mom
Death certificate listing G0 as her mom
1930s US census listing G0 as her mom
GOs obituary listing grandma as a daughter
What is the strength of this evidence in your opinion?
