“if Taylor did this” “if Sabrina did this” I feel like she’s being equally criticized for all of the questionable and weirdo behaviors she exhibited in this album run (multiple variants, shitty vinyls, ai boyfriend, fantano interview, smashing pumpkins collab)? I think the only difference is that Olivia and her team are hell bent on maintaining her A+ student image, so whenever she does something weird there’s like a puff piece 5 seconds later, but I don’t think her PR tactics are really fooling anyone. I just find it odd that when she’s being called out, pepole are saying that she *isnt* being called out like other celebs? It implies her team is succeeding in maintaining her good girl image and I really don’t think they are?

I know there are a lot of older gentleman in this subreddit, and that a lot of you have daughters (or sons!) who love Olivia;; happy fathers day! I think it’s amazing that Olivia has created music that help your kiddos understand themselves more, and can even help you connect with them! I went to the Guts tour and saw about 20 “Dad idea, right?” shirts which warmed my heart 🥹

not to mention t swift here, but a large portion of taylors active haters are fallen fans (they stanned her and switched up on her when she started acting in a way they didn’t like). that’s happening to o rod in real time; it seems like a few people have graduated from critiquing Olivia to not liking or respecting her as a person anymore; that is totally your right! but there is a snark page for people who feel that way, and I think it would better for everyone if you spent your energy there ; a lot of people still appreciate and route for Olivia and want to criticize without to snark element.
