What are Olivia's favourite songs from GUTS and SOUR?

Being excited that she said The Cure was her favourite track this album, I'm now wondering what her favourite tracks are on the other two.

I recall her saying for GUTS it was All American B, which is my favourite song of hers, but I'm not sure if she said that it was the best one to perform or her favourite in general. And then for SOUR, I have no clue.

I think it's always interesting to know which songs the artist favors the most, and also maybe it could give me a hint to how The Cure would be like.

What is your favourite thing or moment from the album and singles rollout till now?

Olivia is set to release her second pre release single, 'the cure', for her new album girl so in love tomorrow and I was wondering exactly what I said in the title.

The album/single rollout is def a solid one considering most artists nowadays don't even prefer to release pre release singles or do interesting promos.

My favourite moment is the wall colour thing and the lock thing. It got a bit extended but still I love it and it was something new and fresh. There's also the chewing gum wall and ik it's a reference to her lyrics but I think that was a bit gross.

I'm also really loving the interviews and performance appearances she's been doing for this album.

There's also things I dislike about this promo which includes the unnecessary and Excessive variants even tho it's a standard now but still.. I was also hoping for more diversity in her outfits bcz I feel like the babydoll dress doesn't really suit her as much as the fitting dresses but it's only been one song so we'll see.

Overall, I'm intrigued with the entire promo. So, what's your favourite moment till now?

AMEL MUKHTAR, THE AUTHOR OF THE BRITISH VOGUE INTERVIEW, SAYS SHE’S BEEN WAITING FOR ‘the cure’

Amel Mukhtar was the author of the British Vogue interview, where she described the 3 songs that Olivia let her hear. She commented on Olivia’s post, saying she’s been waiting for ‘the cure’. Note that she previously said that her favorite of the three songs that she heard was the last song Olivia played her, the dancier, experimental track, with an orchestral ending. She said the song was about how love won’t fix you!

“The final song is about that realisation: love won’t fix you. It’s dancier, the most experimental I’ve ever heard her. The orchestral end catches me off-guard and it’s so beautiful in this setting it almost brings me to tears. It’s my favourite of the three. Avoiding her eyes, I scribble down “Love!!” and “So pretty” (two underlines). It’s “what I think being in love feels like”, she says. ‘You’re getting to the core of all of your issues: how you feel about yourself, your insecurities, what makes you joyful. It feels like the most raw form of you, which is so scary and terrifying and uncomfortable, sometimes, but beautiful at times.’”

Based on the MV teaser for “The Cure”…

This is definitely not going to be slow song. I can’t wait to see if it’s a pop rock song, or if it’s more upbeat like “drop dead”. But definitely not a ballad. I’m hoping for an angry song like good 4 u

Guys I bought both 7” vinyls lol

I bought the cure on vinyl because it had that exclusive demo, however, it made me realize I should get Drop Dead and it was already gone in the US sooooo I bought one on eBay. LETS HOPE I DIDN’T GET SCAMMED!

Also, bought the necklace, I’m excited to wear it! But does that mean I get my Cure vinyl on the 12th of June?
