I could go on about how some of my favorite tracks in the series come from DDD. The Disney worlds and their battle themes. The boss themes in the endgame. “Link to All” being my favorite character theme. It’s all so good. I feel like it doesn’t get enough credit because of the game’s reputation which is fair I suppose. But I highly recommend giving it a listen when possible.

For me, the theme that plays in the final battle with Seymour in FFX is absolutely my favorite battle theme in the series. It goes so hard and perfectly matches the vibe of finally putting down Seymour in a climactic showdown. It’s just a shame the fight doesn’t last that long to hear the song for very long considering how overpowered you can be by endgame.

Runner-ups gotta be Man with the Machine Gun (FFVIII) and Something to Protect (FFIX).
