I am writing a Wonder Woman fanfic and I have found a place for most major characters except Circe! Like what is her beef with Diana !? She is supposedly her arch-nemesis but I can't for a moment recall a single definitive Circe story!

I remember encountering her in Perez and Rucka run a long time ago but I didn't get a proper read on her. The impression I got at the time was that she was a superfluous character that doesn't really have a solid base for her anger. In the rebirth era, she was more of a trickster deity than a vengeful arch-nemesis, same with the DCAU where she only appeared for one episode and her biggest achievement was making Batman sing, in the absolute universe she is so far removed from her mainline counterpart that she might as well be a different character (which is like not a diss on the absolute universe, it's just doing it's own thing).

Basically I just want to know why Circe is the way she is, I mean she is an immortal super powerful Witch that has been around for thousands of years and has all her material needs already met, she doesn't seek to conquer the world nor does she seek to cause indiscriminate violence, so what exactly does she want to do ?
