This is not a balayage?
Just went in for a balayage and this is what I walked out with. I’m frustrated because I feel like I was clear I wanted a warm chocolate balayage and we discussed my existing color was close to what I was asking for just grown out. I walked out with my hair way darker than I walked in with and feeling lies these are highlights since it goes all the way to the root. We had discussed how I want the top blended and not all the way to the root so it looks better growing out.
Honestly my hair basically looks close the black now and like I lost years of dimension I built... Is it fair to go back and get this fixed or am I overreacting?
