I’ve been on cymbalta for about 14 years or so. Currently at 90mg which is above the therapeutic limit but it’s stopped being as effective. My psychiatrist recommended two options, tapering off cymbalta over a month period and switching to zoloft, or increasing dosage to 120mg which has shown no additional benefit. Terrified of tapering off this medicine and need some input.

I’m curious on peoples experiences with low dose atropine and if it aids in your life as a daily medication or as needed. I have a high sensitivity to dilation due to my blue eyes, so I’m only considering 0.0025-0.005%. Most of my floaters are translucent curved strings or just strings with little density causing gray spots. Was doing better mentally and was ignoring them but this past week I’ve been back to having intense panic attacks debilitating me at times. While I know this would only mask the issue, I need some relief.

Has anyone used atropine to help their progression of neuroadaption? Was it successful? And what types of floaters did you have?

Feeling a bit defeated this last week. I began noticing my floaters about 2 and a half months ago. Every single day is a battle with my anxiety to remind myself that I’m okay and these things aren’t a threat at all. But I find myself not believing that I’ve had these for potentially years and am just now noticing them. Has anyone else been through something similar? Just woke up one morning and boom they were there? I’ve been to multiple ophthalmologists and they all say that there’s nothing wrong, no PVD, nothing. I’m also barely myopic, and 28 yo.

I’m at a crossroads at the moment. My anxiety has increased after an episode over 2 months ago. My doctor has two options, increase dosage from 90mg to 120mg or add buspar. Currently I’m hyper fixating on eye floaters and in such increases anxiety. I’ve been on this medication for over 10 years and tapering off now to start another seems so out of reach. Has anyone noticed any difference from 90mg to 120mg?
