Hi,

So I walk EVERYWHERE. I live in a town and have a 20 minute walk to work each day. I walk to the shops and pretty much everywhere else. My Fitbit says my average daily step count over the past 3 years is 12,300.

I currently wear sketchers because they're comfy but I genuinely wear through a pair of them in about 3 months. Literally to the point that the soles have no tread on them and there's holes forming.

I had a pair of the Dr martens trainers but they didn't last much longer. Normal Dr martens give me shin splint - I'm going uphill/downhill on tarmac a lot. So I need something with plenty of padding that will actually last more than a couple of months. I'm a guy, 5'10", about 110kg. Preferably after black shoes as I work in an office.

Any suggestions as I just get overwhelmed by the choices lol. I'd happily go with boots instead of trainers, as long as they're comfy and last.

Thanks in advance.
