So I still call myself new ish to no man's sky and I was exploring space obviously and I found this thing I have no idea what it is or what it does because it is just a orb.

I think the game said it was like a animal of some kind but it's the only kind on the planet I thought it was a enemy but it's friendly.

Anyway should I make it a pet or just leave the metal planet thing as it is smart people of nms? (Idk if right flair because idk what one is for a question)
