Petition to add a toggle to disable flight assist

Particularly the auto leveling feature when you're too close to the surface. While it's all well and good for the normal ships, in the Corvettes with their strange "center" of ship placements- the feature becomes a nightmare any time I'm near the surface of anything. Simply parking next to an outpost shouldn't be this much of a head ache. You can hear me slamming on the engines only to be sucked further into the planet. The flight assists have always annoyed me but this is beyond annoying and is completely game breaking for me personally. A simple switch to enable/disable the feature would be handy. That or moving the ships "center" to the cockpits placement.

RARE Paradise Giant Found in Euclid. With red to green chameleon grass!

Those of you who can jump to purple systems, I have found a Paradise Gaint worth calling home. I have appropriately named it Captain Planet.

Are they expanding the anomaly?

OK, so I was at the Anomaly this evening and in the area where you can get all of the different upgrades at, and this stood out to me, but is that a door? I know they like to leave Easter eggs in the game, but I think they are going to expand the Anomaly again or at least had plans to. And if so, what was it for or what will it be for?

You don't take those final steps without taking a moment to pause and think of those you met along the way, and all the things you discovered. After all, it's not every day you go around resetting entire universes...but, ya know...

Well, it's been a trip guys, and I hope to see you all on the other side! Star Wolf, Gl0nkyR1ck, signing off...

How viable would a passenger transport system be in No Man’s Sky?

One of the things I would really love to see someday in No Man’s Sky is a passenger transport system similar to the one that exists in Elite Dangerous. I dont know if any of you have tried it.

In Elite Dangerous, you can accept contracts to transport passengers from one system to another, take tourists to specific destinations, transport groups of people and obviously all of this can be at different distances. Depending on the type of mission, you need a ship that you can modify with modules where you can carry x amount of passengers, and these modules can have different amenities, like in a normal airline. It would be interesting if this could fit into the economy that already exists, for example:

There would be more first class passengers if you travel between 3-star economy systems, but it would be more common to get tourist class passengers between 1-star economy systems.

And I think No Man’s Sky already has practically all the foundation needed for something like this:

And it wouldnt be that complex in terms of what would need to be animated. In Elite Dangerous you dont actually have to see the cabins themselves or each passenger entering one by one, they are just modules that you add to the ship and the game lets you interact with lists of passengers that you can accept or not into your ship depending on their destination. Although if they added it, it would also be really cool to see passengers of different races inside your ship and even have them comment on what they think about your ship.

I think it could fit perfectly with the exploration focus of No Man’s Sky.

I know some people might say that something like this doesnt make much sense from the lore perspective because we already have portals. But there is an important detail: *a portal cant take you to a place that you have never personally visited before.*

That’s why, for me, a passenger transport system would make a lot of sense. There could be travelers who want to reach systems they have never visited and who, for whatever reason, would rather pay a pilot to take them there.

Also, within the No Man’s Sky universe, glyph travel seems to be a technology that very few people know how to use. It wouldnt make much sense to assume that every inhabitant of the galaxy can simply open a portal and travel anywhere they want.

And another pretty interesting possibility: *transporting passengers of questionable reputation.*

If pirate planets and systems exist, you could accept contracts to transport people wanted by the law, smugglers, or individuals who are simply trying to escape their past. You could take them to systems where they can hide or even help them reach places where they have legal problems, in a similar way to some of the passenger missions in Elite Dangerous.

This could even create some pretty interesting situations: accepting to transport someone without knowing the whole story, discovering during the trip that they are wanted in certain systems, having to decide if you continue with the contract or abandon it, or even getting better rewards for taking certain risks.

For me, all of this would fit pretty well within the No Man’s Sky universe and, more importantly, it would give traveling between systems a new purpose.

Personally, I would love to have a ship whose purpose isnt combat or transporting resources, but simply *taking people from one corner of the galaxy to another while discovering new places along the way.* 🚀

What do you guys think? I honestly think it would be great for the game, considering how many people enjoy games that are literally about road, rail, or sea transport.

Sorry, English is not my native language and I use a translator to explain this question that I have had for a long time.

And I'm sharing an image of my corvette, because I didn't imagine people would get so offended just because I tried to illustrate my idea in the previous post.

Need help and some explanation about starships

Recently I started hunting sentinel ships and I noticed that when I found S tier it seemed... worse than A class? How is that possible? Are some stats more valuable?
Let's ignore the cargo slots for now, let's compare core stats. Also, the first one A class has 2 super charged slots for some reason, not 2. Why? Last ship, a fighter, not a sentinel looks like has the best stats...? Except the hyperdrive range I guess. I'm a bit lost at this situation, feels like if the last fighter would have more cargo, I would choose that one, although sentinels looks pretty damn cool. AFAIK, naturally found S tier ships have better core stats rather than upgraded from A to S (at least that's what I've heard on youtube videos. What's your thoughts about these stats?

How do you play this game?

I'm asking because there's just so much stuff to do. Do you prefer to follow the story, or just explore the planets?

P. S. I'm expecting a lot of "yes" comments
