I was wondering for you guys with the news of Sony going all digital with their games in 2028 does that matter to you? I’ll buy a digital game on sale or or if it’s a game like No Man’s Sky which is better suited for digital but sometimes physical has better sales like I just grabbed Red Dead 1 on 360 and popped it into my Series X and ran fine. What are your thoughts on all digital?
This year I listened to Project Hail Mary. I was blown away by the book, the narration, and the movie. This story cooked on all burners. I went back to The Martian. I’m barely an hour into the book and it’s already super good. I remember seeing the movie 10 years ago. Haven’t finished the book yet but Will Wheaton’s narration and Andy Weir’s humor are just too notch. Crazy how just 2 books (not even) makes you into a super fan.
I typically have a main game that’s story based (right now GTA4 in Oreos for GTA6) then I have a couple “mindless” secondary games for a shakeup from my primary like Lumines or Splatoon 3 on Switch. Have you found focusing on fewer games allows for deeper enjoyment or does multitasking work better for you?
Just because a game is well loved, doesn’t necessarily mean YOU will love it. I personally do not care about Elden Ring of Baldur’s Gate 3. Lately I’ve been playing older games. Have you guys ever fed a list of your favorite games or the ones you’ve finished multiple times to Claude or Chat and asked it to recommend you games? Recently I have been trying to figure out if Triangle Strategy is worth the pickup. I hear it’s great. I THOUGHT I’d be into Octopath Traveller but I get stuck on bosses and have given up on it. So I was nervous about Triangle Strategy. I love the heck out of the GBA Fire Emblem and Clause said given that, there are difficulty setting that make TS accessible so I would be good to go. Have you ever tried this with games you are interested in?
I gotta say when I first bought this game it wasn’t for me. Didn’t want to take the time to get good. Will say now that I’ve sunk a few hours in and play with the silver rapid fire splatter I’ve found my groove. This game is seriously fun!
