Klaus and Caroline, Elena and Damon.
Sorry for the long thread - this is an in depth post on Delena and Klaroline.
In season 3 and 4 Caroline constantly shamed Elena for flirting with Damon and having a friendship with him (this was prior to them officially dating) - especially in season 4, she got mad at Elena for being friends with Damon which I understand her perspective (because Damon abused her and all) but klaus did WORSE to Elena and yet she remained friends with klaus..
How can she get mad at Elena for her choices with Damon whilst standing next to ELENAS MURDERER ?? The hypocrisy
Caroline was such a hypocrite and always got mad at Elena and tried to sabotage Elena, for doing things she did..
even the tvdu fandom hates on Elena frequently for being with Caroline’s abuser (Damon) but what about how Caroline hooked up with klaus multiple times and kept a friendship with him even though klaus literally MURDERED Elena, and elenas aunt, AND tried to kill Bonnie several times and klaus was eventually going to kill Caroline in his attempt to get rid of his werewolf suppression spell cast on him. He was going to use Caroline as a backup vampire to sacrifice in his ritual, to which Damon ended up coming to save Caroline (and Tyler) and he ended up being bit by Tyler in attempts to protect Caroline from him.
Klaus also compelled women to perform for him, to kill one another or feed off each other or to dance for him and other things.
And Caroline still remained friends with him.
Yes Damon also tried to kill Bonnie but as the seasons go by, both Caroline and Bonnie become close with Damon, Bonnie even calls him her best friend and Damon gets invited to Caroline’s wedding. Bonnie and Elena however (victims of klaus) never become friends with klaus and always kept a distance from him.
Klaus also would abuse Elena in season 3 by draining her of her blood to the point where Elena would walk back from klaus’ house limping from the amount of blood loss she’d endure…
Elena literally died because of klaus but eventually was later reborn due to John giving his life force away to her.
How can Caroline judge Elena for flirting and sleeping with her abuser (season 4) when she did the EXACT same but with someone who was worse. Yet Elena never called Caroline out. But Caroline never failed to try to make Elena feel bad about her choices.. the fandom hates Elena for dating cares abuser but love Caroline and klaus together?? Make it make sense.
