As you can see in the attached video, my pressure washer surges rhythmically at idle — roughly every second or two. Interestingly, it seems to smooth out when the motor is under load.
Specs:
- Generac OneWash 2000-3100 PSI
Symptoms:
- Surging/pulsing at idle
- Better under load
Things I'm wondering:
- Could it be a water supply issue (not enough flow to the inlet)?
- Unloader valve?
- Carburetor?
Any help diagnosing this or pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated — I'm not sure where to start!
