Currently, the bar stools are very close to these arm chairs that are there for TV viewing. I would like to replace these armchairs with something else for two reasons: 1. I don’t like that these chairs and the barstools are both very leggy 2. Watching TV with my husband or toddler would be better sitting together on a single sofa/loveseat vs. sitting in two different arm chairs.

Also, placing the brown sofa in the place of armchairs is not an option due to the side profile of the sofa being too bulky. Would love to get furniture suggestion to replace these armchairs with.
