I've come across the same situation many times where people especially other men act like they don't give a shit about you when you're down and it I guess increases their self esteem a little bit and makes them feel better. I literally don't understand where it came from. At all. To me if someone looks or acts careless it comes off as a lack of empathy, a lack of any emotion at all and just borderline autistic. You guys might be normal with no mental conditions and you willingly make yourself look neurodivergent in return for a boost in your own ego.
One example is when another man is complaining about a problem. That happened to me before especially in larger groups, because yea I was foolish enough to do this at some point. And then some guy whips out the "you're just here bitching and crying about your problems like no one cares bro" you can tell he says this to gain social credit. To look masculine and strong next to someone who's vulnerable or weak. Maybe the average person does infact respect you more for this crap, I wouldn't even be surprised.
But I don't. I will just forever see you as some insensitive asshole that I should never trust with anything especially when it comes to being supportive. Like what are you even trying to prove. Every single time they try so hard to prove they don't give a shit about me and all that does is make me not like you.

You don't have anything better to do than speak to me and listen to me complaining if you're gonna be like that. You literally should be forced to sit down and speak to me. And in the meantime you can try to figure out why your default response to someone's problems is to make fun of them. I don't believe you should be able to even go to work and be apart of society till you solve this right here.
