i found a dead lily in my garden and instead of throwing it away, i put it in a vase and it loooks like a sculpture now
one of my lilies died. whole plant, brown leaves, dry stem. should have thrown it out but i did not. i put it in a glass vase on the kitchen counter, just left it dried out completely. now it looks like something you would but at a store that sells ugly things for a lot of money. a dried lily, a sculpture. my friend came over and asked if i bought it. i said it was a dead lily in a vase and my friend said it looks intentional and that is the nicest thing anyone has ever said about something i almost hrew away. dead lilies, vases, guilt and friendship. that is a whole decoration story
