I just gave my final interview for micron and the next day BAL Cobalt ( Micron’s Legal team ) reached out to me for immigration docs . Then the very next day I get a rejection email.

The position was for new college grad and the HR said they will sponsor as I am an f1 student. The panel interview feedback was positive and I was essentially in the category pre hire in BAL website.

Is this normal ? Why would legal team reach out if they wanted to reject me ? Is it because of documents? Does this happen often ?
