I got 119 in MET, expecting 80-90 in PCME (Worst case scenario: 80-85). Thought I was safe for mech before JEE inflation came up, I was getting 16k rank in worst case scenario. Still technically safe with 80-85 band and with JEE inflation, but the rank would be exactly 18k, just before last year's cutoff. Is cutoff likely to increase to 17k or lesser? I know usually people consider mech safe at even lower scores but is that really the case?
Anyone currently studying mechanical at Manipal, how has the course been so far? I heard the faculty for mech is pretty good. Please do tell me more about your experience and the program itself.
Also, anyone has any thoughts on CBSE's digital marking this year? I'm a bit skeptical. Since boards marksheet has to be uploaded within 2 days of results being announced, would it even be possible to get answerkeys and get rechecking done, and then have the updated marksheet submitted? What does Manipal usually do in such cases?
